PLAN B : WEEK TWO
Genesis 12 v 7, 15 v 2 - 4 and 16 v 1 - 4 & 6. Abraham, though we associate his name with great faith and being the father of the entire Israelite nation, he was also no stranger to Plan B. He faced many times of confusion, frustration and discouragement because of unfulfilled dreams. Abraham was desperate to live out his Plan A, but he took control instead of leaving control in God’s hands.
1. How does this story show that control is only an illusion?
2. What promises that God has given you in his Word, can you hold to as you learn to accept his plan?
3. In looking back over your life, what instances can you name when God proved to you that he can be trusted?
